   Pentagon tests rivals to replace Claude

   Bloomberg reported that 25 Pentagon power users have tested OpenAI, Google, and xAI models against Claude since March, after Anthropic was designated a supply-chain risk for refusing to lift restrictions on autonomous weapons and mass surveillance, a designation it is fighting in court.
