   Bayesian Health's sepsis AI wins Medicare NTAP

   The FDA-cleared continuous sepsis monitor secured a New Technology Add-on Payment under the FY2027 IPPS final rule, up to $61.84 per eligible Medicare discharge from October 1, the first such device with both FDA clearance and a dedicated Medicare pathway.

   CMS opens the RAPID Medicare coverage pathway

   The pathway issues a proposed Medicare National Coverage Determination the same day the FDA authorizes an eligible Breakthrough device, compressing coverage from roughly a year to about two months.
