   Anthropic signs a 3.5 GW Google TPU deal

   Anthropic contracted 3.5 GW of Google TPUs coming online from 2027, as Broadcom disclosed a long-term agreement to co-develop future Google TPUs and supply networking through 2031, moving more frontier compute away from Nvidia GPUs.

   OpenAI's first Intelligence Processor, a blank-slate LLM-inference accelerator co-developed with Broadcom and Celestica, was taped out in nine months with help from OpenAI's own models and targets gigawatt-scale deployment with Microsoft and other partners by end-2026.
